The shade provided by trees in my garden helps to reduce indoor heat in the summer. I certainly think my garden gives me more than I put in. I’m planning changes too, hoping to benefit birds, bugs etc.

Glad to see that sustainable landscaping is getting a foothold in the building industry and filling the gap left by LEED. It just makes sense!
