Social Media for Birders (and Gardeners)

Here’s something that looks very fascinating. And because I’m a birder AND a gardener, and love finding resources that benifit birds and wildlife inside and outside the garden, I’ve signed up for Gunnar Engblom’s (AKA @Kolibrix) free course: Social Media for Birders.

This is important because conservation depends on getting the word out, educating folks to specific problems, and learning solutions.

Conservation matters to wildlife, in the forest, in the grasslands, in the desert, and IN YOUR GARDEN!

And social media, to me, is not so much about ME, ME, ME, but in passing along things that you find helpful. It’s about sharing with others when you find someone who’s doing good things. It’s about helping others by spreading their message.

I like the collaborative communication that can happen is social networks.

Sign up now to learn how to use social media to protect wildlife.
