I think baby hawks are quite adorable. They are gangly and cute and have to grow into those eyes! And Cindy Ahern is absolutely correct! They are Red-shouldered Hawks, ready to climb among the branches, but not yet ready to fly. Check out Cindy's wonderful wildlife habitat garden.

I remember how surprised they looked, and how surprised (and delighted) we were to find them at practically eye level!
