I’m dreaming of warmth. It’s 19 degrees here at home. So my mind wandered to Florida, and the warm rays of the sun on my face. For your enjoyment, these little beauties were photographed in the Everglades. What are they?

I think baby hawks are quite adorable. They are gangly and cute and have to grow into those eyes!

And Cindy Ahern is absolutely correct! They are Red-shouldered Hawks, ready to climb among the branches, but not yet ready to fly. Check out Cindy’s wonderful wildlife habitat garden.
