Alison: Feeders are a wonderful way to bring birds close enough to really get to see them. I love watching my feeders especially in the winter. But its also very rewarding to see them picking seeds from your plants and eating berries from your shrubs. Can’t wait to hear what you’ve planned for your garden!

Great links as always Carole. I particularly enjoyed David’s blog, Montana Wildlife Gardener, and his writing about natural food for birds. As you know, I plan to improve my garden for birds, but meantime feeders are kind of vital for me to see birds.
